1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation, or instructing us to begin a service, you agree to these terms together with any written quotation, booking confirmation, service-specific conditions, and mandatory carrier or authority requirements that apply.
2. Our role
Transovia Global Logistics coordinates logistics services and may act through independent carriers, agents, brokers, handlers, warehouses, and other qualified partners. The exact scope of our responsibility will be stated in the accepted quotation or booking confirmation.
3. Quotes and bookings
Quotes are based on the information available when issued and remain subject to capacity, route availability, carrier acceptance, fuel or security surcharges, exchange rates, duties, taxes, inspections, and final shipment details. A quote is not a confirmed booking until accepted and confirmed in writing.
Changes to weight, dimensions, contents, value, route, timing, pickup conditions, delivery access, or documentation may change the price and schedule.
4. Customer responsibilities
You must provide complete and accurate information, lawful goods, safe and suitable packaging, required permits and documents, correct contact details, and reasonable access for collection and delivery. You must identify dangerous, restricted, fragile, perishable, high-value, live-animal, or specially handled items before booking.
5. Prohibited and restricted items
We may decline items prohibited by law, regulation, sanctions, carrier rules, safety requirements, or route restrictions. Restricted cargo may require prior written approval, specialist packaging, declarations, permits, or additional charges. Undeclared restricted or hazardous goods may be refused, returned, stored, or handled as required for safety and compliance, at the customer’s cost where permitted.
6. Customs, duties, and authorities
Customs clearance support does not guarantee release or a particular duty, tax, inspection, or processing outcome. Importers and exporters remain responsible for accurate declarations, product compliance, licenses, duties, taxes, and responses required by competent authorities unless a written agreement states otherwise.
7. Collection, delivery, and timing
Transit times and delivery windows are estimates unless a written service confirmation expressly guarantees a deadline. Weather, congestion, inspections, customs decisions, carrier changes, industrial action, security events, recipient availability, and other circumstances outside reasonable control can affect timing.
8. Pet transport
Pet owners remain responsible for veterinary advice, fitness-to-travel decisions, vaccinations, microchips, permits, approved travel crates, entry requirements, and truthful animal information. Travel is subject to carrier and authority approval. We may recommend route or timing changes where animal welfare or compliance concerns arise.
9. Charges and payment
Invoices are payable according to the terms stated on the quote or invoice. Additional costs may arise from incorrect shipment information, failed collection or delivery, storage, waiting time, re-delivery, customs activity, inspections, duties, taxes, address changes, or services requested after booking.
10. Loss, damage, and insurance
Liability may be limited by applicable transport conventions, law, carrier conditions, cargo type, and the agreed scope of service. Customers should request appropriate cargo or pet travel insurance before movement. Any visible loss or damage should be recorded at delivery and reported promptly with supporting documents.
11. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation or amendment charges may apply after capacity, equipment, permits, handling, or partner services have been reserved. Refund eligibility depends on costs already incurred and the conditions of the selected carrier or service provider.
12. Website use

13. Governing requirements and disputes
Mandatory laws and transport conventions applicable to the contracting entity, shipment route, service type, and place of performance will apply. Please contact us first so we can review and attempt to resolve any concern using the booking records and supporting evidence.
